ATTENTION ALL SKULDUGGERY PLEASANT LOVERS:
As you all know, the beloved author of the Skulduggery Pleasant series makes several public appearances at local bookstores, schools, etc.
"Local", my ass. They're all in IRELAND.
Most of the world doesn't live in IRELAND. But that doesn't mean that we don't love SP as much as the Irish do. So isn't it a little unfair that people who live anywhere else don't get to bask in the presence of the Golden God himself, simply because we live somewhere that doesn't have leprechauns?!?
Well I say NAY! (Oh, that rhymes!) If I want Derek Landy to come to my country to sign books, I' m gonna make it happen!
Hence the purpose of this blog, whose idea was born by me, and two other bloggers, Skulgirl13 and Mary Hiashi. We decided that the fact that we live in North America shouldn't hinder Derek Landy from coming to visit us! And so this petition was born.
